Galeo was founded in 2018 to help companies in this era of digitalization, by designing, constructing, and operating innovative data platforms that harness, integrate, and exploit dynamic data value. Galeo’s name comes from the “Galley slaves” (Galeotes) that row together with the oars of a ship. In ancient times, they were not slaves but free people whose skills were fundamental for the successful voyages of their motherships, which sailed forward thanks to an orchestrated platform of oars powered by them; data, machines, and people working together with intelligence to deliver value. Today, we believe that enterprises can navigate and thrive through oceans of fast-moving, changing, and growth opportunities based on data thanks to the oars provided by modern data platforms, and we are happy galeotes wishing to row together with you. Human data: Productivity suites are interaction hubs between systems and humans, creating a new form of valuable data that can be intelligently analyzed and exploited for value.
