Galactic Exchange (GEX) is a global decentralized exchange and market,
where people and machines can publish, share and sell live data and
message streams, as well as computational resources
and apps that process these streams. We envision GEX to be a planet-wide
low-latency cryptocurrency-based decentralized network for data and compute
targeting IoT, mobile, and web. GEX uses novel security mechanisms.
These mechanisms allow parties to exchange data, idle computational
resources and algorithms.
GEX organizes data streams in channels. Everything published in a
channel is reviewed by smart contracts we call ”jbots” (justice bots), that
run dramatically faster than Ethereum smart contracts and are capable
of executing AI algorithms, as well as actively interacting with the world
around them. As an example, a person using a blockchain-based bank
account can have a live video conversation with a jbot to request a funds
transfer
