Today, data teams extract data through non-consensual APIs. There is no ownership or accountability of critical data assets. In software engineering, we begin by defining service contracts (APIs) with robust schema, constraints, and SLAs. We aim to bring software engineering best practices to data management. Our belief is that if we reverse the state of data to emulate software engineering, the value of data for AI/ML, data products, and other revenue-generating data grows by an order of magnitude. We have 3 years of funded runway, several committed design partners, and are hiring a small & focused team to build out our multi-cloud SaaS/IaaS product. What that would mean for you is autonomy, a lot of building with little bureaucracy & few meetings, and interesting tech like Serverless Stack, GraphQL, Kafka and Flink.
