Future Quest is developing "CoastaLink", a coastal network using the VHF Data Exchange System (VDES), which is scheduled for pre-launch in 2025.
"CoastaLink" is VDES terrestrial network to integrate the communications infrastructure for maritime mobility. We will provide communications between ports, manned vessels, and USVs as SaaS.
Coastal Link includes;
- For government: a VDES IaaS solution,
- For MPAs and Coastguards: Coastal Sea VDES coverage solutions,
- For software vendors: VDES communication API solution.
We are already planning demonstrations in cooperation with maritime administrations in several APAC countries.
We will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 3.5 million tons per year by optimizing maritime mobility communications.
