Friendsta is a pre-launch social media app that initially seeks to reduce loneliness and boredom among mobile teen users. Despite having hundreds of following and accounts they follow, feelings of loneliness and boredom are still highly prevalent among teenagers. They find it hard to find friends who share their unique sense of humor and special interests. Friendsta aims to unlock new friend potential from 2nd and 3rd degree connections. By letting users casually browse content from 2nd and 3rd degree contacts, Friendsta creates a positive and safe environment for users to talk to people whose content they enjoy.
