Friendshippr is a peer-to-peer shipping platform for Facebook contacts. It's a purely mobile app for iOS and Android. It helps people identify and connect with their traveling friends for the purpose of shipping.

This is predominantly aimed at people who do this activity already offline. If you have ever sought out a friend to be your courier, this app is for you.

While anyone with a Facebook account and smartphone can become a customer, the pain point this app resolves is highest in developing markets where institutional shipping lags behind.

This is not a traditional "crowd-shipping" application, trying to induce strangers to carry packages for cash rewards. Rather a digital platform to organize and provide transparency to people who already would use their friends for shipping things (especially cross-border).
