he U.S. is on the verge of a national healthcare crisis catalyzed by the staggering growth of the nation’s aging population. This demographic shift is referred to as the “Silver Wave”. The crisis itself will manifest in three primary ways: 1) increased cost of healthcare 2) reduced quality of service 3) shortage of human resources (i.e. medical staff). To mitigate the impact of the expected crisis, we are creating a Health Assessment System that will serve two principal customer groups: firstly, care-takers and healthcare providers, and secondly, families with elderly loved ones at home. Our product addresses the inherent shortcomings of wearable devices by offering a holistic non-intrusive AI technology that relies on smartphone cameras for mobility assessment and fall prevention for the aging population. Our software-only AI solution provides daily reports and real-time notifications which contain seniors’ health conditions and unidentified patterns for immediate attention. The ability to detect both physical movements as well as behavioral analysis creates a holistic solution for addressing a broad range of illnesses and problems, which is currently not available.
