We are a small and passionate team whose goal is to secure the world's software. Our binary analysis tools are checking the world’s software for security-critical bugs, and we are improving them every day. Our team is composed of some of the most notable academic researchers in binary analysis, as well as some of the best hackers from competitive hacking contests. Our core technology, codenamed MAYHEM, is the result of more than a decade of research at Carnegie Mellon University’s CyLab (Cyber Security department and laboratory). In August 2016, MAYHEM won DARPA’s two-year-long Cyber Grand Challenge, designed to pit the best autonomous hacking systems against each other in a battle royale. A world where machines can automatically find and fix software security bugs seemed like science fiction not long ago, but bots like MAYHEM have pushed the envelope on what is possible in the world of software security at a time when malicious hackers seem to have the upper hand. ForAllSecure is now moving beyond CGC and applying MAYHEM to real-world systems and applications.
