A lot of innovation is needed to reduce global catastrophic and existential risks facing humanity, such as climate change and advanced artificial intelligence. For Future helps the ventures creating the innovations to address humanity's existential risks find the resources they need. On the flip side, we understand that retail investors and "normal everyday people" have the desire to help contribute and solve existential threats, however there is no channel for them to do so in a meaningful way. Just sharing posts on social media or signing petitions isn't enough. This is due to hurdles such as difficulty in discovering existential risk ventures, lack of investor accreditation, lack of scientific/technical expertise, etc.
