Launched in Livermore in late 2013 under the brand of foodnearu.com we soon expanded to cover the whole Tri-Valley Area.
Over the period we revamped our software so that our system is SEO friendly as well as it allows us to easily expand to other areas. We worked with local independent restaurants and focussed extensively on the customer experience and delivery time.
Since our system was homegrown we invested heavily on our development efforts to make sure we built all complexities in our system. Like leveraging the delivery network of restaurants along with our own delivery we were able to suceeed in our area. Additionally with one service to fulfill both pickup and delivery options our restaurants were more inclined to work exclusively with us. rather than managing three different ordering systems like eat24 and grubhub and others.
We have build a model in which we can expand this to other areas and monetize it as well.
Currently we process about 1000 orders a month.
