Follow is the new social network for the outside world. Travel, experiences, nightlife, events, dining, shopping, activities, museums, outdoors, parks, transportation and more. The form is a TikTok meets TripAdvisor environment where it's all about short video and having a good time. Our UX for travel is a full-funnel experience from inspiration to checkout. Starting at the social feed (infinite scroll, short video feed) and 'ending' at a shopping cart. Users can easily bookmark anything they like from videos that move the products to the shopping cart. Follow is a social network that automatically creates its travel ecommerce counterpart by cutting up the social video content and repurposing it for travel customers. Creators can upload videos as they would on TikTok or Instagram, but on Follow, they can create segments on their video. The full video goes to the social feed, the segments are cut out and added to beautiful location detail screens. This way, the users themselves create the destination, hotel, restaurant, café, park, shop detail screens on our platform. This provides superior information and usability to potential customers and extra engagement and monetization to the creators. As part of SASTDes, we are indexing millions of destinations, accommodations and activities on sustainability and use that data in our algorithms for ranking and recommending content, steering the whole travel ecosystem towards sustainability with our unique green algorithm.
