We are looking for a full-time Product Manager GEO (m/f/d) for our team in Leipzig with an immediate start. As a growing SaaS start-up with locations in Leipzig, Hamburg, and San Francisco, we help companies worldwide to use drones and independently develop completely new data solutions. With drones, both specialized companies and global tech corporations collect large amounts of data and information from energy grids, infrastructure, or buildings. Last but not least, drones are used for transportation, surveying, or rescue missions. For our further growth, we are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable reinforcement for our team. YOUR TASKS You develop product roadmaps You design software features for our current product You maintain geodata for our own GIS, conduct interviews with customers, public/ non-public agencies You create user stories for the further development of our product You lead independent & proactive communication with other internal teams You have the management as a direct point of contact and prioritize the product backlog in the team YOUR PROFILE You have a degree and >3 to 5 years of professional experience (possible fields of study: IT, computer science, management, geoinformation, geography, surveying or comparable) You have very good command in German and English You have good knowledge in the area of geoinformation, geodata management, geomatics plus photogrammetry or comparable desirable You are confident in working with geoinformation systems (QGIS is desirable) You have good knowledge in the area of (geo)databases You are confident in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams, etc. You have good knowledge in the area of product management You have experience and knowledge in agile software development and SCRUM Further knowledge in the area of unmanned aerial vehicle systems/ drones is an advantage You have a strong analytical mindset and work independently and solution-oriented
