FlexiDAO is a software company born in November 2017 in Barcelona (Spain) as a result of a 1-year research project at UPC University led by energy engineers Grzegorz Bytniewsky (CTO) and Simone Accornero (CEO). Economist Joan Collell (CCO) joined the founding team at that point, bringing business experience from Bain & Company and Google.

FlexiDAO's mission is to accelerate the transition towards a decarbonised and decentralised energy industry for businesses and individuals by helping energy retailers build innovative, service-driven business models for renewable energy sourcing through blockchain-based applications.
