There are 3 factors that have prevented customized products from mass success in the consumer space 1) custom products are prohibitively expensive for most consumers 2) delivery times are too long for custom products 3) the experience of purchasing a customized product is confusing and involves too many decisions. We solve these using 3 interlinked concepts. 1) B2C model with distributed, localized manufacturing which allows us to collapse the existing retail value chain and cut out overheads, middlemen and transportation cost/time 2) The concept of "dynamic design" which makes it easy for users to modify stock designs (if they want) and will eventually give us a limitless library of designs and 3) Artificial Intelligence which helps reduce and organize customer decision making.
