FileMap is a map-based file manager for making file systems visually accessible and easy to navigate.
We developed FileMap to improve file management and collaboration experience in design, innovation, and education.

FileMap displays existing file systems with its unique and immersive zooming user interface. It makes the entire file structure visible, easy to navigate, and easy to organize. FileMap provides instant point-to-point travel and visibility inside even the most complex file systems.

The visual representation of the file system on FileMap (the layout) can be modified to edit the file system. Additionally, through the ability to move and resize items, these layouts are perfect ways to express the project workflow.

FileMap solves issues seen in default OS file managers, saves time, and provides a fundamentally new and pleasing user experience for managing file systems.
