FEDI functions as an international money transfer service by leveraging email for transfer authorization and a peer­ to­‐peer network to facilitate currency exchange. It's like interfacing with Transferwise via Square Cash.

We're different because we function through the email clients of our users. This allows us to roll out to the web and mobile simultaneously because email is our app.

We bring parties together and facilitate the exchange of currencies at the real-time interbank (midpoint) rate. Our plan is to make money by charging a simple and transparent transaction fee for providing this service.

Our focus is the US remittance market. We plan to enter this market via a strategic partnership with an entity that can offer compliance as a service, think Dwolla and Veridian Credit Union.

FEDI strives to bring accessibility, affordability, and usability to a fragmented, expensive, and complicated industry through a business model that has been gaining traction.
