Farm.One is creating a better food system with neighborhood vertical farms for zero-waste local food.
The company grows and delivers freshly-harvested greens in zero-waste containers to its NYC Members each week. They are mid-construction on a new 10,000 sqft farm in Brooklyn, adding a zero waste Members' add-on store for local and sustainable foods. Prior to COVID, Farm.One supplied over 40 restaurants in the New York area including Eleven Madison Park.
The founder and CEO, Rob Laing, previously founded Gengo (acquired Lionbridge 2019). Farm.One plans to capture part of an underserved $49B+ addressable market for locally-grown food and zero waste living with dozens of Neighborhood Farms across the US by 2025.
