We started out making location-based Augmented Reality games a few years ago (before Pokemon Go). We quickly realized that if we want persistent Augmented Reality, autonomous robotics, shared mobility, and really any other application that interacts with the real world, then we need better 3D spatial maps, so that's what we're building. Today, Fantasmo is building the end-to-end open infrastructure for 3D spatial data and camera-based positioning. We're backed by some amazing investors and are looking to expand our team with people passionate about converging the physical and digital world. Oh, and we've got offices in sunny Santa Monica, CA and Munich, Germany.
