Jobs at Famous.AF / Stolen

Here's what I want in a job: I want to wake up and work on something I actually use every day. I want to work on something that I think is both valuable to a very large number of people and will be around for a long time. I want to have ownership over what I build and how I build it. And I want to collaborate with really talented people who are smarter than me [ hey.co/about ] and care just as much about what we're building as I do. Finally, I want to make sure I’m going to be compensated well and fairly. If you're like me, then I think you'll like working with us on Heyday. We are intensely collaborative - we hire our engineers for product sense so that we can spread ownership as wide as possible, and culturally we think it’s important to explicitly have a single person who owns each decision (usually the engineer). As teammates we value commitment and accountability; honing our craft; building tools to create leverage; and seeking to learn from and understand each other. If you are world class at any of those skills we'd love to hear from you. We work out of a spacious, naturally lit office in South Park of San Francisco a few blocks away from the water. We cater lunches (please go home and eat dinner with your family) and offer you monthly Uber, wellness, gym benefits, a $10K equipment budget when you start, and 100% paid healthcare for you and your family. We even offer paid-paid vacation to make sure you take time off to recharge a few times year. But you shouldn't work here for the perks. You should work here if you believe helping people remember the story of their lives is an important mission. And a meaningful one. We will fly you out for interviews and relocate you to San Francisco if you aren't here already. A lot of our team work remotely from time to time, but we haven't found full time remote employees to work out well *for us* since we collaborate so closely together in real time. Life is short. Build stuff that matters.
