Familonet GmbH develops the smartphone application FAMILO, which uses smart geolocation features to help families and groups of friends, colleagues or roommates all over the world improve communication in their day-to-day life. The company’s mission is to offer precise location technology which is easy to use and allows group members to share their location with their family or group whenever necessary.

In 2014 Familonet won the MobileTech Award and the Webfuture Award, honoring Germany’s most innovative mobile companies. In 2015 Familonet became part of the Business Incubator Centre of the European Space Agency (ESA).
