FactiCo is the first mobile-first media outlet in Mexico. Through the use of maps and the GPS of smartphones, it locates news stories and events happening around the users, giving them the facts to make decisions about their life and attend events that truly interest them.
Most of the media outlets in Mexico not only have a bad reputation, but have been unable to innovate and launch mobile apps that fully use the technologies present on smartphones to change the way they present information. FactiCo presents information in an intuitive and fun way, giving a geographical context to the stories so people can take decisions about their spare time and life in their communities. Users will use the application to plan their daily activities, be better informed about the topics they are interested in, get more involved in decision making inside their community, and attend more and better sport and cultural events.
