We believe in hiring talented developers, and letting them use that talent to shape our software. We have a very flat structure. Management decides what the overall goals are for the company, and which parts of those each team is responsible for, but it's the teams themselves that decide how to accomplish those goals. You and your other team members come up with ideas and tasks that you want to do, as long as they are taking us toward the goal. Managers and other team members are available for guidance and to answer questions, but we think the people actually working on the feature have the best chance of improving it. We also have a flexible work schedule, and we don’t track time off. As long as you’re getting you work done, if you need to take a day off, that’s fine. If you’re planning a trip and need to take a couple weeks off, that’s fine too, just let us know.
