Stevia 1931 is a social agricultural company focused on the industrial scale production of stevia; the all-natural zero-calorie sweetener. Our cultivation and refinery activities will be based in Ghana. Beyond commercial success we strive to maximise +social impact.

We have made significant progress by securing one of the best stevia varieties available along with its experts to guide our cultivation activities. In addition we have secured great cultivation sites and entered into partnerships for sophisticated and cost effective refining technologies. We have made preliminary agreements with buyers and parties willing to develop our sales channel, incl. a sugar giant. We have good relations with both the Ghanaian and Dutch government. 

To finance this project we decided to set up an impact fund with the potential to finance other projects too. By year end we hope to have raised 6m EUR. We will double any investment (up to 6m EUR) with an 12 year interest free loan.
