EXcME is a set of rules that govern how connected crowdfunding platforms and investor groups can communicate with each other. Its protocol enables users to transfer ownership of different forms of value (shares, loans, convertibles and currencies) across the boundaries as easy as sending an email.

With EXcME we try to do two simple things: 1) connect crowdfunding platforms and investor groups which operate through different core account ledgers, which are not compatible with each other and 2) makes transactions between them possible.

The system will offer: long-term revenue for intermediaries, global visibility, communication between independent systems, consolidation of crowdfunding and private market, lower fees, lower costs, faster clearing and settlement, less paper work, liquid secondary market, etc.
