Ewing Publication (EP) careers

Every great franchise starts with a book. At Ewing Publication (EP), we write, publish and grow the stories that become films, series, animation and brands.

Based in Los Angeles and part of Mason Ewing Corporation, EP publishes children's books, young adult fiction, adventure and fantasy novels, biographies, historical and educational titles, as well as cookbooks, music books and cultural publications.

Our flagship is the Jonathanland Universe: a fictional world inhabited by the Johnlandais, home to Baby Madison and his superheroes. EP holds all literary and audio rights connected to Baby Madison. We are also developing the dark and mysterious Reytac franchise and Isabella & Dorian, an aristocratic romantic saga.

What makes EP different is what happens after publication. We work hand in hand with our sister companies Ewing Power Production and EPP Animation, so our stories can move from the page to the screen and into licensed products.

We also want to change who gets published. Too few African stories reach children around the world. EP is building partnerships with African authors, starting with Cameroon, to bring their voices and storytelling traditions to young readers everywhere. We also publish the literary review Critica Books and are preparing the Madison Literary Art, an annual prize celebrating writers from Africa and the African diaspora.

Our mission: spark imagination in young readers and give the next generation of storytellers a global stage.
