Jobs at EverythingDid
African American women outspend the general market 3:1 on salon services and 9:1 on beauty products. Many African American hairstyles take longer to achieve causing black women to spend unsustainably long amounts of time in hair salons.African American woman have demonstrated a high willingness to pay for in-home salon services and in many cases are negotiating directly with stylists in salons to have them come to their homes to do their hair, and in many cases, to do their daughters' hair. The existing beauty on-demand apps are not targeting African American clients. The majority of the stylists associated with the existing apps are not familiar with kinky and curly textures and are therefore unable to serve this customer base. As the former CEO of an award winning ethnic product line, I am familiar with this category and have extensive relationships on the client side and the stylist side of this equation.
