We operate in the space between pure sofware and hardware. We were doing Internet Of Things before it was a buzzword. Our platform provides a deep end-to-end solution. We need simple and intuitive user experiences on mobile, web and large-format displays. We have significant scaling and infrastructure problems to solve when operating on the cloud at scale. We work on real-time integration with devices (IoT devices, building management systems, alarms, detectors etc...) We need machine learning for predictive analytics. We have interesting and tough challenges in all of these areas.
