On behalf of Escala.vc, I made 6 investments in LatAm and have achieved 1 exit in 1.5 years, all others still active. Now is the time to help entrepreneurs innovate and scale up startups in spanish speaking Latin America. There are few well established funds in the region, and quality startups struggle to access capital (recent ~SaaS startup with $30k MRR took 6 months to raise a round under $4mm cap). We reinvested the proceeds from our exit and have already raised some of the capital for our first fund from third parties and are looking for somebody with venture investing experience to enhance team.
