EnergySolaris' mission is solar cooling to beat global warming. Its AirSolaris COOL is a climate game-changer:
- using 3-10X less electricity than today’s air conditioning and no harmful HFC refrigerants. At scale, it could help prevent 100 GT CO2e by 2050 and 0.5 C of global warming by 2100
- disinfecting ventilation air for a safer, healthier indoor climate. This can save lives since Covid-19 can remain airborne for several hours.
AirSolaris COOL is ideal for ventilation of high occupancy buildings like hotels, schools and hospitals in sunny hot-humid climates. This world-first technology integration delivers 24/7 solar-driven comfort by means of ultra-efficient solar desiccant and evaporative technologies and near-lossless non-electric energy storage.
The team includes world-leading scientists and AirSolaris COOL has been validated by two of Europe's leading energy research institutes: Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE and Austrian Institute of Technology.
