We are working on solving a range of challenges in hospital logistics by leveraging recent research results from learning-based robotics. Our robots will perform a variety of complex manipulation tasks, such as restocking supply rooms, fetching items for nurses and serving food and many more tasks which will empower healthcare staff to spend more time with patients and ultimately improve patient experiences and outcomes. Hospitals offer unique challenges since they require robots to perform a large number of tasks in a diverse, changing environments. This allows us to work on solutions that lead towards general-purpose robotics, while creating a significant impact to the healthcare system. Emancro will build the world's first general-purpose robot that will be deployed in a economically viable setting, generating signifcant value for patients and healthcare providers.
