We transform organic aubergines that don’t fit conventional standards of vegetable beauty, British cheese that was sampled during the maturing process and can’t be sold to customer, and handmade granola not needed because of overproduction.
Overall, each time we buy a product that would otherwise been thrown away, there is an immediate impact:
1. A positive impact on the environment by reducing food waste;
2. Producers gain an additional revenue and learn creative way to fight food waste;
3. Customers become more aware of food sustainability and can afford artisan products.


The entrepreneur:

My name is Sophie, I started to work on the business idea for Elysia in early 2016 after I arrived in London, and officially launched the business in summer 2017.
I work with passionate artisans - handpicked because they use only the highest quality ingredients and traditional methods to create beautiful products!
