• Design and implement data models, schemas, and ontologies for chemical, biological, and automation-generated data that serve discovery workflows across the portfolio.
• Define and maintain controlled vocabularies, metadata standards, and FAIR-compliant data frameworks in partnership with Preparedness4Insight.

• Project Management: Lead teams to deliver large programs of at least $50M USD or more in capital assets and/or support a workstream or node of a larger program of $200M or more in capital assets. These teams will consist of both Lilly and Non-Lilly professionals to safely achieve project objectives from front-end planning (conceptual design) in a Brownfield or Greenfield site through operational qualification (cradle to grave). Project objectives are defined as delivering asset capability or capacity with safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance.

• PCAE-BMS/HVAC will be responsible for keeping up to date the documentation package for the applications.

• Champion safety-first culture in all automation activities; ensure safe design, installation, operation, and maintenance of automated systems.
• Ensure automation solutions comply with cGMP, Data Integrity, CSV, and corporate engineering standards.

• Design, build, and maintain data processing pipelines for complex scientific datasets (chemical, biological, HTE, and automation-generated data), ensuring FAIR compliance and machine-actionability.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices providing unified programmatic access to LIMS, ELNs, instruments, data warehouses (Postgres, Redshift, Snowflake), and analytical databases.

• Apply experience in both batch and continuous solid drug product manufacturing unit operations to accelerate product development.
• Understand the interaction between raw material properties and processability as well as how unit operations can be used to improve manufacturability.

• Become a subject matter expert on Lilly’s DeltaV reference architecture to create a site design for the DeltaV platform.
