Edily careers

At Edily, we start with why: we are building Edily in order to address the epidemic of low high school engagement. While 75% of 5th graders report that they are engaged in school, by 12th grade that number drops to 32%. However we know that high schoolers are engaged and inspired by education-focused creators like @chemicalkim, a chemistry educator who has over 1 Million followers on TikTok, so we want to build a place where these educators have all the tools necessary to inspire kids online.
Edily is a mobile app combining the engagement of social platforms with focus and organization of educational platformws. We enable educators and students to be participants rather than passengers in the edtech ecosystem, helping them create educational videos that are fun in a TikTok-like format that appeals to the way kids want to be engaged. Our platform not only features creators and influencers, but also tags videos to curriculum, has discovery algorithms that emphasizes learning (not time spent online), has video creation tools that enable educators to build videos quickly and even earn money, and personalizes which of the many videos a student may learn from on a specific topic.
