PHP MySql Developer Job Description We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, its definition, as well as maintenance of the central database. As a lead developer, you will be responsible for ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. Qualifications Bachelors in any computer-related field or engineering (BTech or BSc BS degree) 4+ years of experience in the field General Responsibilities Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Integration of data storage solutions (databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.) Skills Required Strong knowledge of PHP (object-oriented programming, web frameworks, fully synchronous behavior, etc) Good understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3) Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and MVC design patterns Understanding accessibility and security compliance, fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Understand user authentication and authorization between multiple systems and servers Familiarity with MySQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages Knowledge of public API's (how to interact with them, build your own and manage them) and caching technologies (how they work and when they should be used) Critical thinker with problem-solving skills Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
