At Echotree, we're reimagining the legacy media space by creating a new form of conversational media. Using LLMs and voice technology, we build Echoes, interactive AI reflections of real people based on their voice, memories, and life story.

If you ask most people what they would save from a burning house, the answer is almost always the same... the photo albums, because they represent those priceless memories. Echotree is the next evolution of that instinct. Instead of static albums, we create a living, interactive archive that gathers video, audio, and a full transcript of a person’s story. Families and future generations can then engage with that archive in a natural way. For example, a grandchild can ask their grandmother’s Echo about her wedding day and hear the story back in her same voice.

We're starting as a high-touch, premium service, combining long-form documentary-style interviews with AI to deliver Echoes for families today. This allows us to both cash flow the business and do the deep hands on product research as to how people engage with their digital reflections and how the data should be gathered.

Echotree was born out of my own background in the filmmaking world, where I learned how to capture stories in a way that feels intimate and cinematic. I've been apart of over 80 productions in the last three years, had a film go to Cannes, and have one a handful of awards. Coming from that industry, I saw how much more powerful legacy storytelling could become when combined with new AI technologies.

Long term, our vision is to democratize access, making it possible for anyone, anywhere, to create an Echo for themselves or a loved one. In the future, we see Echotree as a widely available application with a low or even free entry point, where preserving and passing down stories is as natural as saving picture books.

We believe we are solving one of the most human problems of all: how to keep memories and voices alive across generations.
