Eat Cheap is a website and mobile application which uses location services to identify nearby restaurants and eateries with specific discount meals or other offers for specific dates.
Eat Cheap is a subscription based service for restaurant owners/managers, who log on to update their specific deals and discounts, often already in place. As it is location based this creates competition amongst restaurants and in turn creates the best deal for the end consumer.
The customer is anyone that enjoys eating out and also enjoys a great deal, (eg. everyone) and provides an easy platform to compare deals by price, distance, reviews or cuisine.
Eat cheap will become so recognised and widely used that it will also become a marketing tool for restaurants that if not being utilised will simply result in potential loss of business. As most restaurants already have existing 'specials nights' the subscription fee only needs to bring in a handful of extra customers to become a viable marketing strategy.
