Earthmover is building a fully managed cloud data platform around open standards and open formats to simplify the use of multidimensional, scientific data. The goal is to accelerate climate tech progress by standardizing this base layer of infrastructure that everyone needs.

- Earthmover’s cloud data lakehouse platform will allow customers to quickly ingest many different scientific data formats, optimize data for analysis automatically, manage data governance, and integrate scientific data into downstream applications.
- Data stays in the customer’s cloud account and is organized using open standards like Zarr and STAC
- Earthmover will complement and interoperate with a thriving open-source and SaaS ecosystem, with support for many programming languages and multiple compute engines (e.g. Dask, Beam).
