Dryfta was one of our products we started developing early 2010. But then it slowed down. At that time, we had no less than five products we were working on. For a team of 15, it was too much on the plate. So, Dryfta never really achieved stability. Each product had enough traction with good prospects but none of them reached the bug-free state, primarily due to lack of focus and distributed resources. We couldnt keep our customers for long. They would use them only to find annoying bugs! We want to correct our past mistakes. We lost our focus about building one complete product and instead was trying to build all of them at once. Even though market and traction were good, no product ever went beyond its MVP stage and we never got beyond our initial customer successes. So, now, we have decided to bring the curtains down on all of them except Dryfta. We will build Dryfta, gain traction and make sure customers are happy using it. That's our only goal for the next 3 years. A few words we live by: • Ask forgiveness, not permission • You're on your own • Sweat the details and corner cases • You must code • Do what you think is right (and be right) We don’t hire anyone who just wants to be an engineer. Or a designer. Or a product manager. We hire people who want to start their own company—at Dryfta and beyond. And we’re not a good place for people who want to be told what to do.
