We are a pair of software engineers that got interested in generative AI for real estate after our friend bought a house in Los Angeles and wanted to build an ADU on his property, but couldn't find any consumer-friendly software to generate designs. This experience revealed a clear gap in the market: while professional architects have powerful tools, everyday homeowners are left with limited visualization options during the early planning stages. Drawing on our background in machine learning and web development, we created DreamLADU to democratize architectural visualization. We believe everyone deserves to see their vision before investing thousands in construction. Our team combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for helping homeowners maximize their property potential through accessible technology. What started as a solution for a friend has evolved into a mission to transform how people approach ADU planning across California.
