As patients, we will understand more about our health than ever before. To harness the latest advances in technology and innovation for advanced healthcare, and inform preventative and personalised interventions, we must first fix health data exchange, connect data silos and form an open healthcare ecosystem. This is what Dovetail Lab was created to solve. Our team was originally commissioned by the NHS to create the software that connects patients with their medical data and safely enables that data to reach healthcare providers from the public, private and voluntary sectors. This data, empowered by informed patient consent, is then available to improve decision making and drive the insights that will enable better health outcomes for all.
