DOOR Global is building an AI-powered storytelling platform that merges cutting-edge technology with traditional authentic artwork. We combine Large Language Models (LLMs) for narrative generation and ethically licensed Diffusion Models for visuals, ensuring creators keep control of their work while unlocking limitless possibilities.

Founded by artist Mark Diaco, we’re guided by an artist-first approach—no data scraping or intellectual property exploitation. Our overarching motivation is to open new “doors” for storytellers worldwide, from comics and animated shorts to immersive, interactive experiences.

What Hard Problems Are We Solving?

1. Ethical AI Usage: In a landscape where generative AI often raises concerns about misused data and uncredited art, we stand apart by developing a transparent licensing framework. This system respects creators, compensates artists fairly, and ensures their styles or IP are never exploited without permission.

2. Fragmented Story Consumption: Traditional media formats are losing traction in an age of digital overload and shorter attention spans. By providing a platform for long-form, on-demand storytelling—both digitally and in physical copies—we help audiences reconnect with immersive narratives.

3. Limited Creative Collaboration: It can be tough to bring together writers, artists, and tech experts under one cohesive workflow. Our platform simplifies this by unifying every aspect of story creation under the same roof. From concept and character arcs to the final illustrated panels, we enable real-time co-creation through interactive “DOORWAYS.”

4. Complex AI Pipelines: Seamlessly integrating LLM-based story generation with Diffusion-based visuals poses a significant challenge. DOOR Global tackles this by giving users a single place to build and refine their narratives, generate high-fidelity illustrations, and (eventually) extend their work into VR, animation, or gaming experiences.
