The Doft app pairs shippers with available local carriers together based on equipment type, distance and other criterias. Doft disrupts the trucking industry. It simplifies the process to several clicks and reduces "time to deal" from 1-2 hours to 5-10 minutes.
It turns out that the industry exceeded $700 billion in 2014 according to data from trade group American Trucking Associations (ATA) and it aims to a trillion dollars per year. That’s a huge market! And it’s been shockingly resilient to disruption, even as Uber takes over the taxi world.
