DOEN Foundation careers

For almost twenty years now, DOEN has invested in social and/or innovative enterprises both at home and abroad and has gained a great deal of experience in the world of 'impact investing'. In addition to financial support, DOEN also contributes substantive added value by bringing well-matched parties from the network together and this helps move the initiatives forward.

DOEN invests directly in enterprises by means of a convertible loan or investment (I). In addition to this, DOEN also invests in investment companies and funds in order to deploy its resources as affectively and efficiently as possible (II). DOEN is often one of the first financers to step forward, even though this entails risks. DOEN's involvement often triggers more investors to follow the foundation's example at a later stage.
