• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and customer-focused engineering culture.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers across multiple disciplines.

• Contribute to block diagram, schematic capture and component selection for electronic sub-systems under guidance from Senior and Principal Engineers
• Take on real PCB layout responsibility from day one — working across your own designs and colleagues’ within our Altium Designer environment, with close mentorship from experienced Senior and Principal Engineers

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle and CI processes

• Produce detailed SolidWorks drawings and specifications for cable harness assemblies, including BOM-tracked components suitable for PLM entry
• Create and maintain decal and label drawings to support product marking and compliance requirements

• Write onboard tests to verify embedded device hardware for production and manufacturing.
• Analyze test data to detect failure trends and drive continual device improvement.

• Manage and grow assigned customer, partner, and distributor relationships across the APAC region.
• Own the quoting process, follow up on commercial opportunities, and help drive deals to closure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and develop embedded Linux software for 5G cellular routers with integrated Wi-Fi 7/8 capabilities.
• Lead the implementation of key features on the product roadmap, including eSIM, 5G Network Slicing, Dual SIM / Dual Standy/Active, and user experience enhancements.

• Lead validation and verification activities for SmartSense IoT sensors, gateways, and connected monitoring devices across EVT, DVT, and PVT development phases.
• Execute smoke testing, regression testing, and system-level validation covering hardware platforms, firmware functionality, and system software behavior.

• Architecting and developing cloud-native IoT software platforms using C# (.NET 6 or later) and applying object-oriented design and SOLID principles
• Designing and managing real-time data pipelines between IoT devices, gateways, and cloud platforms using MQTT, WebSocket, SignalR, Redis, TCP/IP, and Kafka

• Develop reliable, maintainable automated integration tests using the pytest framework.
• Write advanced Python‑based automated tests for REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, service interactions, and event‑driven workflows.

• Build and manage project timelines, milestones, and implementation plans

• Technical Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, present solutions, and drive the technical sales cycle for Digi's wireless routers and managed services.
• Solution Architecture: Design and propose end-to-end solutions for customers, integrating Digi's cellular routers, remote management, security, and managed connectivity services.

• Define and drive the enterprise network architecture strategy across WAN, LAN, WLAN, datacenter, and cloud environments to achieve ≥99.95% uptime and eliminate single points of failure.
• Lead and accelerate SD-WAN and Secure Service Edge (SSE) implementation, reducing branch deployment timelines and strengthening Zero Trust enforcement.

• Develop, integrate, and debug embedded firmware in C on Silicon Labs-based modules as part of the Digi XBee family of products
• Design and implement low-level hardware interfaces, peripheral drivers, and platform abstractions for new and existing XBee products

• Hands-on experience working on production-adjacent data initiatives
• Mentorship from experienced data scientists and engineers
