DIBS is a technology startup leading the evolution of sophisticated, data-driven pricing for the health and wellness industry, a market size of over $1 trillion globally. DIBS is a SaaS company that maximizes revenue per customer for SMBs (small to medium sized businesses) operating in health and wellness. DIBS analyzes historical data to deliver varied pricing and micro-targeted incentives that increase revenue and drive engagement at the individual customer (end user) level. Our initial application is focused on the fitness industry with plans to expand into adjacent sectors. Since 2012, the fitness industry collectively engaged in a “race to the bottom” pricing approach with an emphasis on unsophisticated discounting strategies. The industry-wide practice has yielded the undesirable result of anchoring customers at unsustainable, discounted price points. To address this problem, DIBS provides SMBs the tools to implement sophisticated and flexible pricing strategies that maximize revenue while simultaneously giving customers access to better pricing as they engage “more” with the business. For example, customers who book more often, or book early have access to advantageous pricing. DIBS has partners across the United States and in the UK, and is on target to double its partner base by year’s end. In its short history, DIBS has increased customer spend by 49%. Customers who book with DIBS spend 4x as much as non-DIBS bookers. We’re addressing a rapidly growing industry that is long overdue for technological advancements that directly impact the bottom line.
