Helping freelancers find desk space to rent
Hello. We set up Deskcamping because we couldn't find a descent service for desk renting online. Like us, many people are working differently. The US Bureau of Statistics estimates that 40% of the entire workforce (in the US) will be freelance by 2020. We're all going to need somewhere to work and working from home or in a café isn't ideal. It can be lonely. We're also seeing a boom in 'bootstrap entrepreneurs' with small teams needing office space without the hassle of expensive, long term leases.

Work culture is also changing. The notion of the office as a closed, walled space is becoming less relevant as organizations need to stay connected to a more pluralized and fluid labor market.

We launched in December 2013. We're initially in London, New York and Berlin. We're focused on the tech and creative community. We're planning to expand to new markets.

We believe in the power of people working together. We're not in the 'desk real-estate' business.
