Defense Innovation Unit - Experimental (DIUx) careers
DIUx is a special arm of the US DOD, reporting directly to the Secretary of Defense. DIUx is a bridge between the private innovation world and the public defense world. Our mission is to make it exponentially easier for startups to work with the DOD (and visa versa), from painless customer feedback to rapid contracts for testing and procurement.
Launched in 2016, we've already funded dozens of companies. Average time from first meeting to closing a simple contract is weeks/months, not years.
We publish the kinds of projects we're looking for on our website, or you can tell us what you're working on and we'll let you know if it's a fit.
