People at dCortex
We are building for environments where things break, decisions carry weight, and systems cannot afford to fail quietly. The roles here span engineering, AI, product, and operations, but the common thread is simple: you will be working on problems that do not have clean edges. This is not a place for incremental work. You will be dealing with messy systems, incomplete information, and real constraints. The goal is to build software that holds up when conditions are unstable, not just when everything looks good in a demo. We look for people who are comfortable in that kind of environment. People who can take a vague problem, structure it, and drive it to a real outcome. People who care about correctness, but also understand that speed and iteration are part of getting there. People who do not need constant direction, but also know when to collaborate to move faster. For AI focused roles, the work is not about training models in isolation. It is about making intelligence actually useful inside production systems. That means thinking in terms of agents, workflows, and decisions that interact with real operations, where reliability and context matter as much as raw capability. There is a strong preference for builders who value depth over optics. The expectation is to own problems end to end, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and ship things that stand up in real environments. If you are motivated by solving hard problems, working close to reality, and building systems that people depend on when it matters, you will likely find this work worth doing.
