Dart Browser is building a browser for the agentic web, with privacy, useful AI, and user control at its core. Built on Chromium, Dart combines local-first AI agents, hardware-bound cryptographic identity, and bring-your-own-model flexibility.

The Dart Agent helps people research, summarise information, and complete tasks across tabs. It works with browsing context such as tabs, bookmarks, history, and local documents, within permissions set by the user. Local models keep inference on the device; users can also choose their own cloud provider or company gateway.

Our approach centres on three principles:
• Local-first intelligence, with cloud inference as a user choice.
• Model freedom: connect your own provider or local runtime, without Dart marking up inference.
• Verifiable security: hardware-backed identity, post-quantum cryptography, and local agent action logs.

We are a small team working across browser engineering, security, cryptography, applied AI, and design. Based in Delhi and San Francisco and working remotely, we value clear written decisions, meaningful ownership, and transparent research.
