At Dan’s Fish, we are changing the narrative surrounding the industry from “I used to have an aquarium, but all the fish died,” to “I love my aquarium!” We delight our customers long-term by providing truly healthy aquarium fish online to end consumers throughout the United States.

The aquarium fish industry’s business norms have not been updated for several decades. The supply chain is needlessly complex. This hampers the industry’s growth because it results in stressed out fish which often die in the end consumer’s tanks, causing customers to quit fishkeeping.

My company is changing this industry-wide norm by helping our customers succeed at fishkeeping. We do this by removing links from the supply chain so the fish are less stressed, by healing our fish before they are sent to the end consumer, and by operating as a customer centric company with outstanding customer service. The result is happy customers and a 56% reorder rate.
